A Legacy Forged in Steel

Founded in the kingdom of bahrain in 1973 through a partnership between the A.K. Almoayed Group and Hall Engineering (UK), BRC Weldmesh (Gulf) WLL has grown into a fully Bahraini-owned market leader supporting major infrastructure projects. Based in Mina Salman, it offers end-to-end reinforcement solutions including re-bar detailing, engineered mesh, bar bending, and security systems.
Its capabilities extend to steel formwork, scaffolding, shuttering rentals, specialised manpower, and prefabricated industrial solutions in partnership with Ancon. For over five decades, BRC has remained committed to delivering the strength behind Bahrain’s built environment.

Foundation and Industrial Setup

BRC Weldmesh (Gulf) began its journey in Bahrain in 1973 under the patronage of BRC UK and the sponsorship of A. K. Almoayed Group at Mina Sulman Industrial Area. The factory started modestly with one wire drawing machine, one British welding machine, and a small overhead crane. The location was strategically chosen due to its proximity to the seaport for easy import of raw materials and export of finished goods. The company began first by producing plain welded wire mesh. Strong regional exports by sea helped BRC establish an early reputation for quality, supported by a steady production target of around 600 metric tons per month.
