It is usually formed from carbon steel, and is given ridges for better mechanical anchoring into the concrete. Epoxy Coated High Yield Steel Bar
Same specification as for High Yield Steel Bars and protected with Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating applied to ASTM A775M. Can be supplied as straight bars or as cut & bent, using special nylon mandrels and pins during bending to protect the bar coating.
